Mermaids are Very Possessive

This is a plain white v-neck shirt from Gadzooks, cost me a total of $3.50. Inspiration for the shirt came from the Japanese anime Pet Shop of Horrors. I watched this episode years ago, Despite them being mildly morbid, something about it artistically struck me. A look into the process I used for this project, instead of sketching freehand on the shirt i decided to sketch on paper first and then trace the image onto the shirt with fabric pens. Then I began to paint the image with Jacquard Fabric paint. The extra items on the shirt where free handed in like the fish and jellyfish.

African Elephant in 2hb Pencil. This one was fun to sketch mostly because it reminded me of these cute little elephants my mom used to draw for us as kids.

Roses are Indeed Red

New headband, I recently finished, I was inspired by Gothic Lolita head pieces. Which are usually very ornate with lace and ribbons. working with what I had laying around the office. I came up with this simple headband design. You'd think I would be tired of sculpting Roses after I finished the White Rose mask. Took about an hour to sculpt the pieces, and day for them to completely adhere to the headband.
